Most important lesson I’ve learned since I’ve started is to understand the client, what the client expects. We’ll try to determine what the client needs because that’s our expertise and then we’ll try to get those two things to equal before we initiate work for this client. We want the client to get what he or she expects and we want it to be exactly what they need. It can’t be less than that and we can’t sacrifice performance for aesthetics. We need to make sure that the customer gets both right to their expectations, that’s what we try to do, that’s what I’ve learned.
